The project consists of the procurement of solid waste equipment and the construction of a sorting and composting facility of capacities 22 t/d and 15 t/d, respectively.  The requested equipment include: 126 containers (capacity 1000 l), 1000 containers (capacity 240 l), 2 pick up trucks, 2 collection vehicles (capacity 10 m3), 2 skid steer loaders, a plastic shredder, a metal press and an electric generator.  The composting technology is of the in vessel - tunnel composting system.  An awareness campaign is planned to raise the awareness of citizen on the proper sorting and management of municipal solid waste.
