ü The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the construction of the sorting facility in Hbaline (capacity 77 t/d) was prepared under a separate contract and submitted to the Ministry of Environment.
ü The Ministry of Environment provided its approval on the EIA for the sorting facility in September 2006. Procurement activities can be initiated.
ü The tender for the supply of various vehicles and equipments was launched in December 2006The tender opening session took place on 6 February 2007.
ü The Containers were delivered on site by the Supplier (ALBINA) in June 2007.
ü Vehicles were delivered on site and were distribued to the beneficiary municipalities on 23 January 2008
ü The order to proceed with the preparation of the design and tender documents for the sorting facility was sent to the consulting office to start the engineering activities immediately. The tender was launched in June 2008.
ü Tender opening took place on 12 August 2008.After evaluation,the tender procedure was cancelled since all technically admissible offers exceeded the available budget.
ü The re-launching of the tender for the installation of the sorting equipment to Hbaline SWM took place on 22 May 2009 after re-scoping & re-designing the previous facility.
ü After evaluation of offers, the contract was awarded to Intertech – Batinorm in December 2009.
ü The contract for the installation of the sorting equipment to Hbaline SWM Facility was completed on 16 October 2010.
