ü       The contract for the supply of the solid waste collection containers (capacity 200 and 1100 liters) was signed. Containers were delivered on December 2006.

ü       The contract for the supply of solid waste collection and handling equipment including 3 pick up trucks and 1 collection vehicle (compactor 10 m3) was signed. The pick up was delivered on 2 February 2007. The remaining truck was delivered on 25 April 2007.

ü       The tender document (including detailed design, technical specifications and Bill of quantities) for the construction of the sorting and composting facility in Slayyeb area – capacities 26 t/d and 15 t/d, respectively - was launched. Bid opening took place on 15 March 2007. 

ü       The contract for the construction of the Solid Waste Management facility in Chouf Es Swayjani was awarded to Nazih S. Breidy EST. on 4 July 2007.

ü       The contract for the construction of SWM facility ended on 20 April 2009.

      Provisional Acceptance & Handing over to the municipalities took place in August 2009.

ü        The Contract for the supply of the Tunnel Compost Turning Machine was signed on 23 January 2008 with the Supplier Intertech - Batinorm.

 ü     The Machine was delivered on site on June 2009.
