ü       The contract for the supply of solid waste collection containers (capacity 1000 liters) was signed. Containers delivered in December 2006

ü       The contract for the supply of solid waste collection and handling equipment including 4 collection vehicles (capacity 3.5 tons), a pick up truck, a skid steer loader and a skid steer sweeper was signed. All pick up trucks and skid steer loaders were delivered on 2 February 2007.

ü       The contract for the supply of compost bagging equipment and electrical generator was signed. Equipments were delivered on site in September 2006.

ü       The Compost bagging equipment and generator were later provided to Jbeil & Michmich projects, respectively since these were not of any use after the cancellation of the financing of their SWM project by another donor funding agency.
