2- A contract for the supply of a tunnel compost turning machine for the Chouf Es-Swayjani Solid Waste Management Facility was awarded to Intertech -Batinorm.Click here

On the 18th of October 2007, Minister of State for Administrative Reform Mr. Jean Oghassabian and the Head Of European Delegation in Lebanon Mr. Patrick Laurent represented by Mr. Yussi Narvi, delivered 20 solid waste collection vehicles to 4 head of municipalities (Union of Jbeil, El Matn El Aala,Michmich,El Khiam) as part of the Program for Financing Municipal Investment Projects in Solid Waste Management. In addition, the Minister of State for Administrative Reform signed 2 contracts for the supply of containers and vehicles for 2 other projects ( Khiyam, Ansar). The vehicles include skid steer loaders, pick ups, and compactor trucks for waste collection.

This activity is one of the activities financed by the EU within the framework of the program for Financing Municipal Investment Projects in Solid Waste Management with an amount of 14.200.000 Euros.
